Plant Chamber Environmental Controls
Plant growth chambers create optimal environmental conditions to facilitate plant growth. The interior fluorescent lamps are spaced to provide lighting to all the plants evenly, while humidity and temperature controls allow you to accurately simulate the intended climate. Memmert’s plant-growing chambers are ideal for plant life and scientific experimentation in laboratories and classrooms alike. These chambers are the industry leader in reliability, energy efficiency, noise reduction, and overall quality.
Our plant chambers provide control over temperature, lighting, and humidity to provide the perfect atmospheric conditions. All our machines are rated for energy efficiency, saving you money while reducing environmental impacts.
- Temperature: Depending on the model, Memmert’s plant chamber temperatures can be programmed between -12°C and 70°C.
- Lighting: Three fluorescent lights with cold white light and 2 UV lamps. Lights are programmed by the controller.
- Humidity: Using hot steam generators and self-priming pumps, our chambers can reach up to 90% rh. Dehumidification is achieved through cold trapping using Peltier technology.
- Carbon Dioxide: Control carbon dioxide levels with our sterile filter and automatic zeroing systems.
