Simplifying Humidity Control with a Central Water Supply

Memmert USA offers two central water supply accessories, ZWVR6 and ZWVR7, designed to connect an HPPeco directly to a central water source. Instead of relying on an individual water tank, a central supply can provide water for humidity control as part of the laboratory's existing infrastructure.

ZWVR6: Central Water Supply with Filtration

The ZWVR6 central water supply includes filter cartridges and is designed for connection to the domestic water supply. Integrated filtration allows tap water to be used while providing appropriately treated water to the connected chambers.

The system also features a warning signal to indicate when filter replacement is required. An LED on the front of the unit will flash, accompanied by an audible signal for 20 seconds, alerting users when it is time to replace the filter.

For laboratories without an existing centralized demineralized water supply, ZWVR6 provides a convenient way to integrate HPPeco humidity control into the facility's water system while reducing the need to manually monitor and refill individual water containers.

ZWVR7: Designed for an Existing Demineralized Water Supply

For facilities that already have a suitable central demineralized water supply, ZWVR7 provides a direct connection without the need for filter cartridges. Because filtration is not performed by the accessory, the quality of the facility’s demineralized water supply should be regularly monitored to ensure it remains within the appropriate specifications.

The ZWVR7 is a practical choice for laboratories where appropriate water treatment infrastructure is already in place and additional filtration at the chamber connection is unnecessary.

Less Maintenance, More Focus on Testing

By connecting up to three compatible chambers to a central water supply, laboratories can reduce the routine task of managing separate water tanks while creating a more centralized and efficient setup for multiple climate chambers.

The difference comes down to the facility's available water source: ZWVR6 adds filtration for connection to a domestic water supply, while ZWVR7 is intended for facilities that already have a suitable demineralized water supply. Both options allow laboratories to configure their HPPeco installation around their workflow and infrastructure. Keeping the focus where it belongs: maintaining precise, consistent testing conditions.
