Memmert USA can perform select customizations in the United States, helping shorten lead times while providing equipment options tailored to specific customer needs.
Here are several options that can help turn a standard unit into a solution built around your application.
Temperature Restrictions (A8 Option)
For applications that must remain below a specific maximum temperature, the A8 option limits the unit’s operating range. This provides additional process protection and helps ensure equipment operates within application-specific requirements. Available temperature limits include +60, +70, +80, +95, +100, +120, +160, +180, +200, or +250°C.
Programmable Door Locks (B6 or D4 Option)
The B6 option provides a door with a safety lock and key, offering a straightforward way to restrict access to the chamber. For units equipped with TwinDISPLAY, the D4 option provides a process-dependent programmable door lock that controls access based on the operating process. This is especially useful when samples should not be accessed during critical portions of a test or cycle, providing an additional layer of process control.
Glass Doors (B0 or B1 Option)
A glass door allows operators to visually inspect samples without opening the chamber and unnecessarily disturbing the controlled environment. This is ideal for applications where frequent observation is important.
Left-Side Door Hinge (B8 Option)
Single-door units are typically configured with the door hinged on the right. When laboratory layout or accessibility requires a different configuration, the B8 option provides a left-side door hinge.
Entry Ports
Custom entry ports provide access for sensors, probes, cables, or other application-specific needs. Port size and location can be selected based on the application, making it easier to integrate Memmert equipment into specialized testing setups. Available sizes include 14mm, 23mm, 38mm, 40mm, or 57mm.
Enhanced Dehumidification (C9 Option)
For compatible climate chambers, the C9 option provides compressed-air dehumidification for demanding low-humidity applications, including environmental, stability, and materials testing. A standard works calibration certificate is included, with measurement taken at the center of the chamber at +10°C and 10%rh.
Flexible Temperature Measurement (H8 Option)
The H8 option provides a flexible Pt100 temperature sensor for localized measurements inside the chamber. The sensor is positioned flexibly in the chamber, with the measured temperature shown directly on the display. Temperature data is also recorded in the integral data store and can be documented using AtmoCONTROL software.
Door-Open Recognition (V5 Option)
The V5 option enables the equipment to recognize when the chamber door is opened. On compatible units, functions such as humidity and light are shut down while the door is open, helping the system appropriately manage interruptions to the controlled environment.
