Space Simulation Chambers

Space simulation chambers are used to mimic the conditions of space including the extreme temperature and pressure requirements needed to effectively operate in the vacuum of space. Our vacuum ovens provide the necessary conditions for space simulation.

Model Guide

VOcool

Low Temperature Vacuum Oven

Low-temperature vacuum drying enables pharmaceutical or food labs to gently dry bacteria and starter cultures in the cooled vacuum oven VOcool.

SingleDisplay vs TwinDisplay

Our products are equipped with AtmoCONTROL technology that has programming functions depending on which display you select:

SingleDISPLAY and TwinDISPLAY

  • Manage and organize data
  • Save log files in several formats
  • Monitor up to 32 devices online
  • Automatic alarms sent to your email when conditions are out of spec

Additional features with TwinDISPLAY

  • Archive of ramps and program sequences
  • Real-time view of program sequences
  • Loops can be inserted within a temperature control program at any place

Space Simulation Chamber Uses

Optimal durability and performance under extreme conditions are critical requirements of space equipment. Space simulation chambers are designed to place space-like pressure, temperature and vacuum stressors on materials and equipment to identify weaknesses and to make sure final products and equipment will not fail in extreme and harsh conditions. Memmert cooled vacuum ovens (VO cool) control pressure and humidity to serve as a space simulation chamber. Peltier technology ensures an even temperature distribution and saves up to 70% on energy costs.
